Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Looks app, our mobile application (the "App") provided by evdnc ("we", "us", "our"), Amsterdam, The Netherlands. evdnc operates the Looks app and may offer other applications; these Terms apply specifically to Looks. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • Notify us at info@evdnc.nl if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

  • You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload ("Your Content").
  • You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the App's features to you — including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy to generate outfits, visualisations, and recommendations.
  • You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or any law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or that depicts other people without their consent.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or bypass usage limits or security controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the App or its underlying services.
  • Use the App to build a competing dataset or model.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. AI-generated content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate styling suggestions and visualisations. These outputs are automated approximations and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect how an item looks in reality.

AI image generation is inherently unpredictable. Even with good input and our best efforts to guide it, we cannot guarantee that any given result will be accurate, realistic, complete, or to your liking.

Styling suggestions are for inspiration only and are not professional advice. You are responsible for your own choices.

6. Credits, subscriptions, and payments

  • The App may include usage credits and, in the future, paid features or subscriptions.
  • A credit is charged for a wardrobe upload only when the AI generation successfully completes. If a generation fails, no credit is taken. Pro members can re-enhance a result at no extra credit.
  • Because AI results can vary, credits for uploads that complete and are kept are otherwise non-refundable. By buying or using credits you acknowledge and accept this.
  • Any paid features will be billed through the applicable app store (e.g. the Apple App Store) under its terms. Prices and inclusions will be shown before purchase.
  • At present, no payment is taken in the App.

7. Intellectual property

The App itself, including its design, software, and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy or reuse it except as allowed by these Terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the App available and working, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
